Shanglon Dorje Duddul is the special protector of the Yuthok Nyingthig medicine tradition, considered the brave ‘minister’ to the great king, the Medicine Buddha who clears away obstacles to health and wealth, protects the natural environment, and eliminates obstacles to one’s spiritual development. For those in the field of medicine or healing, Shanglon is an especially important protector.
In order to support the ongoing construction of our Yuthok Ling temple, the first Temple in the Western world dedicated to the practice of the Yuthok Nyingthig, we have commissioned a limited edition of 108 only statues of this great protector. Handcrafted in Kathmandu, Nepal by master artisans, the statue is ten inches tall, copper with gold plating, filled with special substances and fully consecrated by Buddhist monks in the Kathmandu valley.
The statues are being produced in batches of ten at a time and shipped to Pure Land Farms after which they can be shipped out to anywhere within the U.S. and Europe. For Asian and Australian orders, we can arrange to have the statues shipped directly to you from Nepal.
By ‘inviting’ one Shanglon statue to your home or center, you both benefit yourselves and your environment including family, patients, and friends, as well as support the development of our Yuthok Ling temple and Yuthok Nyingthig activities at Pure Land Farms.
